Applying Glitter to the Edges of Your Artwork
Today’s Tidbit is a sneak peek into one of the lessons of my Wizard of Oz Portrait Series workshop which is ONLY available on my Patreon Page. In this lesson I’ll give you some tips and tricks on now to affix glitter to the 2-inch edge of a cradled wood panel. One of the things I figured out by trial and error was that painting the glitter color on the edge first made the process much easier than gluing dark colored glitter over white gesso, that was an a-ha moment for sure!

Masterson Sta-Wet Palette Review
Today’s Tidbit is a review of the Masterson Premier State-Wet Palette. This product is available on my Amazon Art Supply Resource Page. I list the 12x16 size, that’s what I have and I would not suggest going any smaller, you need room to mix paint in the middle. A copper penny under the sponge is all you need to keep it from getting musty. Simple solutions, big savings!
