Creating a Sea of Layered Blue

Layering Stencils, Masks, Stamps, and Splatter

Today’s Tidbit is about creating collage papers rich with pattern, texture, and layers with a variety of tools and techniques. Working from light to dark, I layer prints and ghost prints from my stencil designs, then I embellish on top with opaque stamping and splatter effects utilizing teal and bronze Golden Fluid Acrylics.

I’m using my favorite pad of rice paper for the Gel Plate, it's got a smooth, sized surface that removes all the paint from the plate without tearing. You can get all the supplies for these Tidbits on my Amazon shopping page.
