Use this as a second day to work on your project with my guidance or take it as a one-day workshop for an overview of the collage process.

Join me at Wekiva Island in a private classroom space by the Wekiva River, just outside of Orlando, FL. I’ll be teaching one full day of Gel Printing and One Full Day of Basic Collage Application with the Florida Landscape as inspiration.

Collage Basics, Wednesday March 10th 10AM - 4PM–Working from photographs, learn basic collage application skills for landscape, whether it’s a broad scene like the river or an intimate scene like an up-close floral element. Gel Plate Printing workshop is suggested to pair with this class but not required if you have your own papers to bring in every color you need. How to tear with and without white edges, how to glue papers down perfectly flat, how to achieve gradual shading with paper, how to tear paper brush marks and follow the form, how to create a collage that looks like a painting, and more!

NOTE: Collage is difficult, please bring a simple reference image of one flower, one element of the landscape, a very simple landscape, nothing too complex.
