When You Work Wet-into-Wet You Get Surprisingly Different Results

Watch while I dip my stencil in water and apply it to rice paper. Water helps the color bleed into highly porous rice paper,
creating wonderful organic edges. This technique is tons of fun with different stencils and color combinations.
The color you bleed through the back of the paper, is the color your torn edges will be!

How cool is that?

Experimenting, happy accidents, that’s where the magic happens. This week I’ve been working with a PILE
of thin rice paper that I purchased by mistake. Sometimes mistakes make magic.
