Gel Printing on a ROLL!

Rock-n-Roll! Creating Copious Collage Paper!

In this week's Tutorial Tidbit I'm gel printing LOTS of rice paper in record time with my OG 8x10 gel plate, two six inch brayers, Golden Fluid Acrylics, a roll of rice paper, and a water bath of color to stain the paper. Save the water bath of paint with some Saran Wrap. I'm using the Yasotumo 8"x20' roll that is the very same rice paper as my favorite 9x12 pad! I love the idea of making a lot of paper FAST while working with the roll. If I could have been out of the camera range, I would have made six feet of paper, the length of my garage studio desk! The water paint bath also makes QUICK work of staining the paper all the way through so that you do not get white edges when you tear it–all good things.
