One Pull Layered Gel Print–Klimt Inspired

Yet another Way to use Your NEW Stencils and Masks

Today’s Tidbit shows you yet another way to created richly layered prints on your gel plate, this time in just one pull. Using my Mini Ink Blender Tool with Domed Inserts, I’ve selectively adding spirals to my Gel Plate along with some fun ArtFoamies Stamps. I’ll add a little bling by spreading some gold paint through a mask as my last layer before I pull it all in one fell swoop!

Products used in this Tidbit are listed below please consider supporting Joggles.com as the are a family owned business out of Rhode Island with great customer service.

I’m using Sumi-E Sketch Rice Paper for this technique. This is my all-time favorite paper pad because of its’ sturdiness that keeps it from tearing, its’ smooth side that pulls off all the paper from the plate, and it’s malleability. Because rice paper is highly absorbent, it glues down like a dream. You can find it on my Amazon Shopping Resource Page, link below.
