A Quick Watercolor Demo from Italy

My Last Day in Tuscany

Today's Tutorial Tidbit features a quick demo on how to make an “ink and wash” watercolor sketch of Tuscany. I have been here for three weeks and head to Rome tomorrow and back home on Sunday. What a wonderful time I had giving my Bella Botanicals watercolor sketchbook workshop. The students made their own book from a full sheet of Fabriano paper, made right here in Italy. We sketched flowers, vegetables, the landscape, the villa, and even our room-keys! It was a wonderful week of exploring the surrounding area, enjoying local food and wine prepared by a private chef, and learning about the history of this amazing place.
