Wet and Watery Stamping on the Gel Plate

It All Started by Mistake!

Today's Tutorial Tidbit features a happy accident that happened to me a couple of weeks ago when I was playing with my gel plate while teaching at the Sedona Arts Center. I was reminding the students to put their foam stamps face down into wet paper towels to keep the paint from drying on the surface. Before I knew it, I had forgotten to wipe my stamp dry before pressing it into the paint and..... WOW! A wet and watery effect ensued that is now one of my FAVORITE effects!

You just never know what will happen when you give yourself permission to play!

Sumie-E Sketch Paper comes in a 9x12 pad and is wonderfully absorbent collage paper that glues down flat and smooth. I am super excited that this product is now stocked by Joggles!
