Two-Tone Dual Pattern Effect with Stencils
It’s a little complicated but the results are fabulous!
Today’s Tidbit I'm using some of my throwback OG stencil designs… What’s old is new again, and why not? I have been perfecting this technique of two-tone dual pattern and the best results are achieved with stencils that have a small pattern on the base, combined with masks that have a big, bold, open pattern for the top layer. The combination and size of patterns is just as important as the colors of paint you choose while working on our favorite rice paper pad!
Be sure to stay to the end where I’ll show a close up of each finished print
Sumie-E Sketch Paper comes in a 9x12 pad (and on an 8x20 roll) and is wonderfully absorbent collage paper that glues down flat and smooth.
I am super excited that both rice paper products are now stocked by Joggles!
