FUN Foam Stamping Techniques on Rice Paper
25% OFF Foam Stamps!
In this week's Tutorial Tidbit I am stamping on top of, and then bleeding color through the back of, my favorite 9x12 pad of rice paper. This paper is so durable that it can handle the stamping and all that water! The key is to keep the wet and messy paper on sheets of palette paper so that they can be set aside and easily peel off when they are dry. Be careful not to let the sheets dry on a surface that they will stick to. You’ll see that the dark blue color that bleeds through the back does not affect the teal or bronze on the front; this is because the color is coming from behind and not going over the top. Ultimately when you tear this paper for collage you won’t have to worry about eliminating the white edges, because they will be blue!
