Layering BIG Shapes with SMALL Patterns–Gel Printing

Layers Upon Layers….

In this week's Tutorial Tidbit Barb and I are together again and we are enjoying the process of layering BIG shapes with SMALL ones. The trick seems to be to use my Patterns for Layering #1 and #2 and/or the Dorothy Series. ALL of these stencils and masks feature SMALL patterns. Then we combined them with BIG masks like the Matisse Cut Outs and my Klimt Freeform Masks. This combo can be really enhanced by your choice of colors, working from light to dark is the key.

If you've got a few minutes... Let's go check it out!
