Layering Over and Under for Unique Gel Prints

Another FUN Way to Use Your Stencils on the Gel Plate

In this week's Tutorial Tidbit I am going to demonstrate how to make an indirect print by incorporating the ghost print and the first print at the same time. I work over a light colored solid because some of the paint will stick to the back of the mask and you may end up with white paper showing through from an incomplete ghost print. I’m working on gold, it adds a little shimmer and ensures that we don’t have any white paper showing through. PLUS, who doesn’t love a little BLING???

NOTE: I used one Ferns mask, a pile of Stabilo Woodies, a 9x11 Gel Plate, a six-Inch brayer, and a 9x12 pad of rice paper in this video.
You can support another small female-owned business by purchasing ALL the supplies for this project from Barb and Company at Joggles.com.
