Molding Paste Texture for Crayon Resist

Make Your Own Texture Plates!

In this week's Tutorial Tidbit I will show you how to use stencils, molding paste, and card stock to create your own 9x12 texture plates! Then I'll demonstrate a great beeswax crayon resist technique with vibrant color combinations and paint that bleeds through the rice paper, offering colored edges when torn. This is one of my favorite techniques. Check It out!

NOTE: I didn't mention this in the video, but there was really no difference between the molding paste, textured or not...

Sumie-E Sketch Paper comes in a 9x12 pad (and on an 8x20 roll) and is wonderfully absorbent collage paper that glues down flat and smooth. I am super excited that both rice paper products are now stocked by Joggles!
