Opaque vs Transparent in Gel Plate Layering

Layer, Layer, Layer!

For this week’s Tidbit Barb and I are back in Sedona playing with the gel plate. Successful gel printing is all about the layering. Barb works with Amsterdam acrylic paints, so she did some research on the symbols they use on their tubes to indicate each color's level of transparency, which she explains very clearly and completely.
I will show you how and why this information (of any paint brand) matters when you are creating layered gel prints.
