Understanding Layers in Gel Printing

Making Matisse Proud!

In this week's Tutorial Tidbit shows you how to layer, layer, layer with complexity, composition, and color. I'll show you how to use opaque light colors that will stand up over a dark color, creating dramatic contrast. I'll also demonstrate how to use Shapes #2 and #3 tab cut Matisse stencils, yielding three sets of shapes per 9x12 sheet! Inspired by Matisse Paper Cut Outs, these shapes are tons of fun to arrange and rearrange, over and over. The design is in the details of layering!
