Today’s Tidbit demonstrates how to layer a geometric stencil with an organic mask, working from dark to metallic on the gel plate. My Klimt themed set of stencils and masks has been a few months in the making and it’s been really exciting to see it be received so well by all of you. Many of the design are sold out but they will VERY SOON be back in stock. Remember that the very best gel prints are achieved through layering, layering, layering. I have two geometric designs that are specifically meant to be layered with the more organic patterns. Rectangle Motif and Leaves are layering designs that go well with ALL of the sensuous swirls of the others.
