Creating Collagraph Plates from Stencils and Paste
DIY Collagraph Plates on the Gel Press
This week I am going to show you how to create some fun layers on the gel plate with feathers. Just like printing leaves on the gel plate, feathers offer wonderful ghost prints with lots of fine detail. I am using my Print Perfect! Gel Plate Registration Tool from Joggles to align the print perfectly over itself on the 9x12 sheet of paper. The stencil I am using is called Halftone Dorothy and it’s part of my Dorothy Series of Stencils at Joggles.
