Art Nouveau Foam Stamping with Soft Organic Effects

My Secrets for a Soft and Watery Effect

This week I am sharing techniques for creating soft and organic foam stamping effects with my Art Nouveau foam stamp designs. Art Nouveau was all about organic shapes and patterns and so I decided to figure out how to achieve some painterly effects with the foam stamps rather than just creating patterns with crisp edges. What’s the key to the soft and subtle effect? WATER, WATER, WATER!! Check out this fun and simple technique and how I used it to create some beautiful collage papers in a palette of purple and periwinkle.
