Beautiful Brown Gel Prints for Collage

My Secrets for Complex Layers and Unexpected Colors

This week I am sharing techniques for creating brown collage papers because I am working on a GIANT meerkats commission. I am using the Shuji Gami rice paper roll (18” x 30’) because it tears with beautiful fuzzy edges AND it allows me to create a large amount of paper at one time. I’m going to need all the paper I can get for this commission. 48x90 over three panels, the meerkats “It Takes a Village” is for the Lucille Packard Children’s Hospital at Stanford University. I am honored to have been chosen to be a part of this project. If you care to follow along, there are in-progress posts of the work on my Studio Facebook Page as well as in-depth video content on my Patreon Page.
