Barb and I have been diving deep into the world of High Flow Acrylics, and we’re beyond excited to share our latest creative breakthrough—using these vibrant paints in spray bottles mixed with a bit of water! This simple yet transformative technique has opened up a whole new realm of artistic possibilities.

I experimented by applying the spray to a gel plate with a splash of rubbing alcohol, creating beautifully fluid, organic patterns. Meanwhile, Barb took a different approach, spraying her colors directly onto paper through a stencil. The results were stunning—each method offering a unique and eye-catching effect.

When the acrylic spray soaks through delicate rice paper, it creates gorgeously colored edges that make tearing the paper for collage an art form in itself. These textured, vibrant pieces are ideal for adding a personal touch to collages and mixed media projects. Barb’s stencil technique, on the other hand, achieves a striking, spray paint-like effect that’s perfect for bold, graphic designs.
