Art Journaling with Postage Stamps

A Little Whimsy for a Little Project that will Make Your Day

Today’s Tidbit features me spending some time with no agenda, working in my art journal. I am having a blast digging through my old postage stamps and using them as heads for people or as collage elements in this disc bound journal from Joggles. The neat thing about this system is that I am working on one page at a time, flat on the desk. If I am not happy with the page, I don’t include it! WHEW the pressure of perfection just went OUT the window people. I am happy that I have extra pages in all the surfaces and if I create one that I am not thrilled with, I just don’t include it. This little disc bound journal is tons of fun to either put together all in one size, or a mixture of sizes and surfaces of paper, they come in brown Kraft, wet cement gray, smooth and sturdy black, watercolor white, and more! The combination of pages are what I enjoy the most, but this system is custom made to what YOU want. So, let’s make some fun pages with postage stamps!
